What is DVI?

DVI cable is DVI, short for Digital Video Interface, is another popular format for connecting devices that provide high quality for new monitors to new players or from VGA cards in computers, which will replace the connection.

For old VGA cables, now when you buy a new graphics card, you will find a card that already has a DVI port, which is an old system that is an analog system, which can easily cause interference, but it is still not the best system. Today, there is a new connection system called HDMI.

There are three types of DVI:

1. DVI-A is a cable that has one end as DVI and the other end as VGA, used to connect devices that are

Output as DVI to devices that are VGA (old CRT monitors), which will reduce the quality.

The wave is down because there will be a conversion from Digital to Analog.

2 DVI-D is a DVI cable that provides the most complete images and sounds. There is no signal conversion back and forth.

Therefore, there is no signal attenuation.

3 DVI-I is a combination of two cables, which can transmit high-quality analog signals (using both converters) and DIGITAL signals in the same cable. It can be called the complete DVI universe.
